Read more for more information Shut Down DetailsThe COD Warzone Caldera shut down is on September 21st, 2023 and after that day, you will no longer be able to play COD Warzone Caldera. If you attempt to launch it, it will lead to a connection error. Players from COD Warzone Caldera will be headed to the new Warzone experiences. Why the Shutdown? The shutdown is to have players playing the new Warzone (the one with the new Vondel map) as well as check out the launch of the COD Warzone Mobile experience. They also want players to check out COD MW II (2022) and eventually COD MW III (2023). COD Points?COD Points will be unaffected. You can still use COD points on the account you linked with your Activision account. How the Shutdown Affects BundlesThose who played COD Warzone Caldera and bought bundles through out the games lifecycle can still access these bundles, but will will need to purchase the game based on those bundles. For example, if a bundle is based on COD Black Ops Cold War, players will need to buy that game to do so. Each game mentioned is at least $60 to purchase. That's three games for at least $200 (with taxes included). My Thoughts About the ShutdownI had a feeling that this would happen since people are playing the new Warzone experience, but at the same time, this is a live service game and things like this will happen.
